Therien Black Belt wins at the Canadian Submission Expo!

This past weekend Bravado BJJ in Toronto hosted a tournament followed by the Canadian Sub-X; an event featuring talented submission wrestlers from various Martial Arts schools. It was an intense night filled with several No-Gi and Gi matches some ending in dynamic submissions, while others went the full 10 minutes with a barrage of points and near tap outs.

One of the most exciting fights of the night was a match between a competitor from Georgetown, ON and our own Sensei Matthew Page. Sensei Matt dominated the match closing with 10 points to 1 and several near-submissions... including a very impressive attempted triangle from a standing position.
