On November 30th, one of Jean-Yves Thériault’s Team Iceman member participated in an Amateur Boxe and Kickboxing Gala. This event was held at the Centre Marcel-Dionne in Drummondville, Quebec and was organized by Team Bergeron and Interbox and sanctioned by the Corporation of Kickboxing Amateur of Quebec. There were 4 boxing matches and 8 kickboxing matches of which two were championships fights : light weight and heavy weight.
The Iceman Team, under the direction of Jean-Yves Thériault, 23 times World Champion, was represented by Robert Ladouceur from Therien Jiu-Jitsu and Kickboxing, Gatineau, Québec
Robert Ladouceur from Therien Jiu-Jitsu and Kickboxing, Gatineau went against Benoît Gallant, Quebec Heavy Weight Champion from Drummondville, Quebec. These two athletes did four rounds with Robert Ladouceur winning the title of Quebec Heavy Weight Champion – by unanimous decision.
